Mr Farlow said if I didn't pick a real poet then I might as well not come into class anymore.... Which is weird becuase I'm in my mid twenties and graduated from school a few years ago. Also I never had a teacher named Mr. Farlow. Anyway....

Walt Whitman was one of America's greatest and most loved poets. He was born on Long Island New York (not ancient Hong Kong as previously thought), but spent most of his life in Camden New Jersey. He published a collection of poems in a book titled "Leaves of Grass." After his death a bridge was named after him. Camden also became really violent. So thats Walt Whitman's story... more or less.
